Dan McIntosh
Daniel A. McIntosh, Jr. is a second-generation Realtor celebrating over 30 years in the Real Estate industry. Dan grew up in the shadow of his father who was both a Realtor/ Developer and a pastor Dan grew up watching his father tear down Connie Mac Stadium (The former home to the MLB team the Philadelphia A’s) and develop along with Deliverance Evangelical Church Hope Plaza which now sits at 22nd & Lehigh St, Phila, Pa. Dan learned both his passion for helping others (giving back) and faith in God from his father.
Dan has sold over 1000 homes in the Greater Philadelphia region in his real estate career which now spans over 30 years. Dan is a Real Estate Broker and has his BS Degree in Real Estate from The Pennsylvania State University, 1988. He has been practicing Real Estate full-time since graduation. Karen
With over 22 years of experience as a law clerk for PennDOT and now a dedicated real estate agent, Karen brings a unique perspective to the table. Her work on eminent domain cases and community improvement projects has given her a deep understanding of the growth and changes in the area, making her an invaluable asset to anyone looking to buy or sell property.
Karen’s track record speaks for itself. From building generational wealth and real estate portfolios for family and friends to helping clients receiving public housing assistance, she has helped countless individuals achieve their real estate goals.
Karen’s background growing up in Montevideo, Uruguay, in a small apartment with her family, instilled in her a deep appreciation for the value of hard work and perseverance. These values have been the driving forces behind her successful career, and she is passionate about using her experience to help you achieve your real estate goals, no matter how big or small. She is a hometown favorite, Upper Merion and Villanova graduate who understands the unique challenges and opportunities of all clients. Karen joined Derrick Real estate because of their unique story and commitment to their community.
Karen’s father had his own business reupholstering furniture in Uruguay and then continued in New York with other family members including Karen’s mother working as a seamstress. She couldn’t relate more to a family-owned and operated business having their legacy date back to Dan McIntosh, Sr. His dedication and passion for real estate and his community left a lasting impact, and even after his passing, his legacy continued through his son Dan McIntosh, Jr.
What stood out to Karen the most was that the business was not sold after his death, but rather it continued to be owned and operated by his family. This spoke volumes to Karen about their dedication to carrying on his legacy and commitment to their community. Sandy
Meet Sandy Prestia, a highly experienced Real Estate professional with over 55 years of experience in the industry. With expertise in Property Management and Listing Residential and Commercial properties, including Multiple Family Units, Sandy’s passion lies in helping people find their dream homes and properties.
As a modern Real Estate agent, Sandy understands the importance of delivering exceptional service to her clients. She takes pride in managing properties as if they were her own, ensuring timely maintenance requests and assisting landlords in finding the perfect tenants for their properties. In cases where tenants do not comply with their lease agreements, Sandy provides guidance and support through court proceedings.
Sandy’s extensive knowledge of the Chester, Montgomery, Delaware, and Berks Counties real estate market has enabled her to list and sell all types of properties, ranging from single-family homes, townhouses, twins, and condominiums to larger properties like a 27-acre farm with a miniature pony race track near the famous Seven Stars Inn. Sandy also managed and sold a 12-unit apartment complex in Bridgeport over the years, along with numerous other rental listings.
Despite challenging market conditions, including a shortage of listings, high-interest rates, and even recessions, Sandy has consistently performed her duties as a Real Estate Agent and Property Manager.
